I am what most people would call a Southern Belle, complete with a Southern accent as perfect as sweet tea!
I was born and raised in the Western part of North Carolina and have been designing and creating things with my hands since I was a little girl. Like most little girls, I have a love for jewelry, shoes, purses, as well as other accessories. I began creating and selling my very unique handmade PolyClay beads and earrings around the age of 10 for $5 per set at local craft shows with my mom (who is also very crafty as well).
As my love for more quality and less boring jewelry, as well as the need for uniqueness grew, I began to create my own jewelry to accent my wardrobe. As the numbers of compliments grew, I felt it was time to branch out and thus, Allura Marie Couture Jewelry was born!
I currently reside in Statesville, NC with my wonderful supportive husband, Steve; daughter, Oliviana Faith; and our puppies, Bella Marie (Yorkie) and Daphne Grace (Siberian Husky). My spare time outside of my full-time Portfolio Management job is dedicated to making new jewelry and all of the photography and marketing of it. I hope to someday turn this passion of mine into a full-time job!
